Sovereignty – 18AUG2024

A Parody of “Harmony”[1973] by: Elton John/Bernie Taupin

Between Gus’ ears over the last few years, whenever he’s heard Elton John’s tune, “Harmony,” he has mentally flashed to the term “Sovereignty” in its place. He was compelled to change most of the other words, too, in order to convey a “different” message 🙂  Gus has enjoyed “word-play” all his life, inherited from his father, “Papa Gus”, who would share various spoonerisms at the dinner table. This helps explain Gus’ coined term, “Unbeluckinfievable“–a self explanatory term used to express a certain sentiment without using profanity. Unbeluckinfievable became its own song over a decade ago, as well as the name of the publishing company that holds the copyrights for all these fun songs!  There’s only one word to describe all the joy, and that is, UNBELUCKINFIEVABLE!
